Eau Claire is a place that is in constant motion; there is always something to do. Downtown Events, Ramada Convention Center, UW-Eau Claire campus, the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center, and the Eau Claire Expo Center hold events all year long. In fact Eau Claire's wide variety of activities that bring together members of the community was nationally recognized by America's Promise as one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People. Indeed the events held in Eau Claire are meant not only to provide fun and entertainment but to also bring people together. Events come in all different forms and sizes and help those attending feel a strong bond to this community.

The outdoors are well represented through the Chippewa River State Trail, the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers and the area's many parks. If sports are your thing there are University sports played throughout the school year as well as minor-league baseball teams the Eau Claire Cavaliers, and the Eau Claire Express. Together with minor-league football team Crush they bring nonstop action for summer sport fans. Those interested in arts and entertainment have numerous venues to attend, including outdoor summer concerts, theatre productions and art galleries.
